Gilroy – The South Santa Clara Valley Tourism Partnership (SSCVTP), comprised of the Gilroy Visitors Bureau and Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce, has launched a new Web site promoting regional tourism www.gatewaytothecentralcoast.org.
This Web site is another component of the marketing plan to bring additional visitors to the south county region.
Earlier this year, the SSCVTP was formed incorporating the theme “Gateway to the Central Coast,” which describes to travelers the destination in relationship to the area known as the Central Coast, which begins in Morgan Hill and extends south to Oxnard. Marketing materials promoting the many things to see and do in the South Santa Clara Valley include a 2007 desktop calendar and a two page ad in the 2007 Central Coast Visitors Guide.
