Dear Editor:
Where was County Supervisor Don Gage? There was a public meeting about the contamination of the water last night in San Martin. The Santa Clara Water District was there. The Environmental Protection Agency was there. The Department of Agriculture was there. Even the media was there. Other major politicians sent representatives to hear their constituents concerns. Where was Don Gage?
It appears now that the perchlorate is working its way down through San Martin to Gilroy and will continue to spread. The water district has no plan or time table to contain or clean up the contamination. What is our county representative going to do about it?
