Resident of Gilroy. Ron was born and raised in Santa Clara by his parents, Justus and Christine May. He lived in Gilroy for the last 35 years. He retired in 2006 from Welker Brothers as a Floor Layer/Foreman for the company.
Ron was a devoted husband to Linda May for 31 years. He was a brother to Darlene Bitler, Justine King and Mary Ann Palasou; father to Hank May, Jill Turner, Jean Cornelius, Judy May and Justine Huntze; he also leaves five step-daughters, many grandchildresn, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear, close friends.
Ron loved to fish, hunt, camp, can his own vegetables that he grew. Hot sauce was his favorite. He was a partner at the Old Schwab Duck Club, a very willing volunteer for several youth programs, a Ducks Unlimited member, South County Sportsman Club member and a Morgan Hill Fish & Game member.
Family and friends are invited to a “Celebration of Ron’s Life” on Friday, March 9, 2012, at the Morgan Hill Grange Hall, 40 E. 4th Street, at 1:00 P.M.
