Boys Volleyball
A third-set loss did little to disrupt an otherwise convincing four-set match victory (25-6, 25-15, 21-25, 25-12) for the Gilroy High boys volleyball team over Alisal on Thursday night in Gilroy.
The win came one night after the Mustangs (18-6 overall, 14-1 Tri-County Athletic League) dropped a tight five-set decision to non-league opponent San Lorenzo Valley.
Gilroy wraps up the regular season against Christopher on Tuesday at GHS.
–Seven kills from Justin Laveroni and five more from Nathan Moria wasn’t enough as the CHS volleyball team fell in three sets (25-10, 25-11, 25-20) to Salinas on Thursday.
