Ruthie was a longtime Hollister resident when she passed away May 5, 2011, from a short illness.
She had worked for the Free Lance for about 20 years. Ruthie is survived by her husband of 41 years C. O. (Beaver) Loberg of Hollister; her children Lorine (Sissy) Esparza of Pennsylvania, Sammy D. Johnson of Hawaii, Gerald A. Johnson of Seattle, Sharon L. King of Hollister, and Kevin E. Loberg of Fresno.
