Amanda Christine Gettman and Ryan Cameron Banks will marry April 22 in Kingsburg, Calif. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Harold and Cindy Gettman of San Martin. She is a 1999 graduate of Live Oak High School and a 2004 graduate of California State University, Fresno. She is an entertainment sales manager at the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center. The groom-to-be is a 1998 graduate of Redwood High School and a 2005 graduate of California State University, Fresno. He is a personal service coordinator at Turning Point of Central California in Fresno.

Marcia Gump and Paul Noss were married July 9 in Morgan Hill. The bride is the daughter of Ray and Judy Gump of San Martin. The groom is the son of Ray and Hortencia Noss of Sacramento. The ceremony was held at St. Catherine Church. The couple spent their honeymoon on a Mexican Riviera cruise.
Richardson-Morris
Mary Lucien Richardson and Adam James Morris were married Sept. 24 in Gilroy. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Alan Richardson of Gilroy. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allen Morris of Cumming, Ga. The ceremony was held at the United Methodist Church in Gilroy. The couple spent their honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii and are now at home in Alpharetta, Ga.

Gabrielle Gamez
Gabrielle Gamez, a Morgan Hill resident, has been selected to participate in the National Youth Leadership Forum on from Feb. 16-19 in Washington, D.C. Gabrielle, 15, is a freshman at Monte Vista Christian School in Watsonville and was chosen based on her academic achievement, leadership abilities and interest in law.
The program allows students from across the country to participate in a mock trial, learn more about the legal system and shadow attorneys at work.

Military
Jason A. Alameda
Marine Corps Pfc. Jason A. Alameda, son of Elizabeth S. and Albert R. Alameda of Hollister, recently completed basic training at Recruit Training Command in Illinois. Alameda and fellow recruits completed a variety of training including classroom study and practical instruction in various areas such First Aid, firefighting and naval customs. The training also included physical aspects.
Alameda is a 2004 graduate of San Benito High School.
Johnathan L. Flores
Marine Corps Pvt. Johnathon L. Flores, a 2005 graduate of Gilroy High School, recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, Calif. The training included intense physical and mental conditioning, as well as learning the Marine Corps’ core value system.
Dan French
Army Private Dan French, a 2003 graduate of San Benito High School, graduated from Fort Benning Georgia on Nov. 18 after 14 weeks of Infantry training. French has been a resident of Hollister since 1996 and has since been stationed in Germany for training. He left several weeks ago for his new station.
Justin A. Sabla
Justin A Sabla, a 2005 graduate of Gilroy High School, completed boot camp at the United States Naval Training Center in Chicago on Dec. 9. Sabla was assigned to Class A School for Aviation Electronics Technician at Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida. He will spend six to nine months at school before joining the fleet for Air Operation for the remainder of his enlistment.
Sabla recently married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Garcia. He is the son of Karen Rodriguez and grandson of Dave and Gloria Rodriguez, all of whom are from Gilroy.
