Gilroy – Residents can share their memories of living or growing up in a rural area. Submit a brief essay for the Santa Clara County Library program “Rural Scribe: Memories of Country Life.” Entries are due by March 15.
Writers may contribute a memoir or an interview of a family member or local resident.
Application information is available at the Gilroy Library and at www.santaclaracountylib.org.
The “Rural Scribe” is part of Silicon Valley Reads programs, which encourages everyone in the community to read one book, at one time and discuss it.
