Auto burglary
-An unknown suspect(s), 8:29 p.m. June 28 on Monterey Road at California Avenue in San Martin, smashed the side window of a parked car and stole an undisclosed amount of cash from a purse inside the vehicle.
-An unknown suspect(s), between 7:45 p.m. June 29 and 1 a.m. June 30 on the 1200 block of Columbet Avenue at Church Street in San Martin, broke the passenger side window of a parked vehicle and stole a purse with $100 cash, a pink iPod Nano, a wallet and bank cards. The cards were later used at an unidentified location to obtain $200 worth of goods and services.
-An unknown suspect(s), between 2 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. July 1 on Monterey Highway at California Avenue in Morgan Hill, used a rock to break two vehicles’ windows and stole $10 and an iPod.
-An unknown suspect(s), between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. July 3 on the 9800 block of Lantz Drive at Scheller Avenue in Morgan Hill, entered a garage through an open side door, went into a vehicle and stole a wallet, checkbook, nail grooming kit, leather container and carton of cigarettes worth $610.
-Mario Macias Perez, 30, between 2:10 and 2:13 p.m. July 7 on the 14000 block of Monterey Highway in San Martin, for burglary after he was positively identified as the assailant who broke the front side window of a vehicle and may have taken something inside. His shoe print was matched to one from the rear bumper of the vehicle and he had tempered glass in his pants pocket.
Residential burglary
-An unknown suspect(s), between 5:59 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. July 4 on the 12000 block of Harding Avenue in San Martin, entered a residence through a back door and stole a wallet containing credit cards, a social security card, Medicare card and various medications.
Attempted burglary
-An unknown suspect(s), between 4 p.m. June 28 and 6 a.m. July 1 on the 3600 block of Pacheco Pass Highway in Gilroy, unsuccessfully attempted to enter a locked weigh station structure by sliding open a window and breaking another window.
Possession of a weapon
-Lino Jose Gonzales, 27, 12:11 p.m. July 1 on Church Avenue at Pierce Street in Gilroy, for possession of an unsheathed knife.
Vandalism
-An unknown suspect(s), between 2 p.m. June 26 and 5:40 p.m. June 28 on 1700 block of Cochrane Road in Morgan Hill, kicked in the rear door of a residence, causing $1,500 in damages.
Theft
-An unknown suspect(s), between 11:30 p.m. June 19 and 5:30 a.m. June 20 on the 5600 block of Frazier Lake at Starr Lane in Gilroy, stole a vehicle from the backyard of a residence and took a wallet, checkbook and cell phone from a purse inside another vehicle. A credit card was then used in Santa Cruz County.
-An unknown suspect(s), between 11 p.m. June 26 and 6 a.m. June 27 on the 4400 block of Roop Road in Gilroy, entered two unlocked vehicles parked in a driveway of a residence, stealing $350 worth of items. Monterey County Sheriff’s Office later recovered the missing items.
-An unknown suspect(s), between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. July 3 on the 5000 block of Santa Teresa in Gilroy, removed and took license plates from a parked, locked vehicle.
Negligent discharge of a firearm
-An unknown suspect(s), between 6 a.m. July 4 and 6:45 a.m. July 5 on the 2500 block of Butch Drive in Gilroy, fired multiple gun shots. A victim discovered a broken second story window and a lead projectile he believed had broken the window.
Fraudulent use of a credit card
-An unknown suspect(s), between noon and 4 p.m. June 26 on the 12000 block of Watsonville Road in Morgan Hill, used the victim’s credit card in Italy.

-Nancy Lee Vegas, 56, 11 a.m. June 29 on Luchessa Avenue at Monterey Highway in Gilroy, for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
-Jacob John Henry, 32, 10:47 p.m. July 4 on Mantelli Drive at Church Street in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance.
Public intoxication
-Vincent Edward Oros, 42, 10:13 p.m. June 29 on Monterey Highway at Blanchard Road in San Jose, for public intoxication and a probation violation.
-Cirilo Roman Centeno, 29, 12:27 a.m. July 7 on the 1800 block of Fisher Avenue in Morgan Hill, for being drunk in public.
