Shirley M. Silveira, 73, died Jan. 16, 2004, in San Francisco.

Mrs. Silveira was a member of St. Catherine Church. She was a homemaker who lived in San Martin for more than 40 years and loved the company of her children and her beloved grandchildren.

Mrs. Silveira was born in Santa Clara. She is survived by her children and their spouses Joe and Cathy Silveira, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, Terrie Silveira and Bud Dedmon, of San Martin, Shelle Silveira and Linda Dean, of Hollister; grandchildren, Jocelynn and Jennifer Silveira, of San Jose, Mackenzie Jackson of Hollister and Ethan Dedmon, of San Martin; siblings, Marlene Omdahl, of Salt Lake City, Utah, Donald Enos, of Paicines, and Al Enos, of Hollister.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Silveira.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine Church, Morgan Hill. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, Santa Clara.

Donation are preferred to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association in care of Johnson Funeral Home.
