David Valencia, Andres Jimenez and Miguel Gutierrez scored one goal each to lead Gilroy High’s boys soccer team to a 3-0 win at Saratoga in the first round of the Central Coast Section Division III playoffs Tuesday night.
Gaspar Figueroa assisted on two goals and Alejandro Flores added an assist for the Mustangs, who bolted to a 3-0 halftime lead.
Gilroy (10-9-2) advanced to play No. 1 seed Half Moon Bay (15-3-2) in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
