Go mustangs!

Two games, 14 goals and two Tri-County Athletic League victories. Sounds about right.
The Gilroy High girls soccer team tallied seven goals for the second straight game in a 7-1 win over Notre Dame in a TCAL matchup in Salinas on Friday.
The Mustangs are now 2-0 in league play and 4-4-1 overall. They host San Benito on Wednesday. Game time is scheduled for 5:15.
“We did a better job of connecting passes and moving the ball around,” GHS head coach Jose Hernandez said. “It was a solid game. We still have to work on cleaning up some mistakes.”
Jahkya Tuerillo netted two goals for the second consecutive outing, while Taylor Slattery, Alexi Slattery, Cynthia Sanchez, Katrina Carter and Monique Barragan added one goal each.
