Dear Editor:
I just wanted to publicly acknowledge and thank South Valley National Bank for their great support of the Gilroy High School Chamber Choir. Brigitte Nicholls and her staff went out of their way to make the choir’s farewell concert on Wednesday night, a special event for all. From setting up chairs, tables, providing refreshments and even making popcorn, to taking everything down again after the concert – they truly were wonderful hosts!
As a parent and member of the business community, I can appreciate the time and energy they put into the evening. What a wonderful example to our young people of a community and business that cares!!!
As the choir heads for Germany on Friday, they take with them words of wisdom spoken at the concert from the mayor, the school board and the GHS administration. I believe after last night’s evening of beautiful music, we can rest assured that Gilroy will be represented in a most admirable light by a group of responsible talented musicians! Thank you Mr. Robb!
Thank you Brigitte and South Valley Bank staff for opening your facility and making the “Auf Wiedersehen Concert” an evening to remember!
