South Valley Disposal opened the second half of the Adult
Basketball Program with a 72-38 victory over Hard Ninety Monday in
Men’s League action at Solorsano Gymnasium.
Robert Rodriguez drained three three-point field goals on the
way to a team-pacing 22 points for the Disposal guard. Rick Vasquez
added three 3-pointers in a 21-point effort, while Donnie Gooding
worked inside for 15 Disposal points.

Roger Hernandez anchored the Hard Ninety offense with 12 points by hitting four 3-pointers. Jesse Mejia and Ephraim Galindo each managed eight Hard Ninety points.
Valerie Smith Intero responded to a 4-0 deficit by scoring the next 14 points on the way to a 42-29 upset of Crunch Time Wednesday.
Mark Cisneros slashed through the Crunch defense to drop in 14 points. Kevin Steele’s three 3-pointers began a 13-point showing for the Intero guard. Tucker Baksa’s inside moves created 12 points for Crunch Time. Kyle Billups helped the Crunch cause with nine points.
Team Techron, the first-half champion, opened the second half with a 53-38 win over the Gilroy Bulls.
Frank Tomasetti scored 12 of his 17 points in the second half of Techron expanded a 28-21 intermission lead.
Kevin Siha recorded 14 points for the winners. Hector Salgado carried the Gilroy Bulls offense with 17 points.
GC Farms rallied past the Warriors 57-53 behind 24 points from Cliff Dennett.
The Warriors rushed to a 30-18 halftime lead before surrendering the edge in the closing five minutes.
Daniel Crowe popped in 20 points for the Farmers. Mike Vanni hustled to 24 points, Brad Plickham and Arnold Tellez 12 apiece for the Warriors.
Gaeta’s Ballers, the first-half Women’s League champion, began the second half Monday by stopping the Garlic Girls 56-20.
Monica Pantoja struck for 15 points, Kisha Webster 14 and Naomi Ruiz 13 for the Ballers. Wendy Filice led the Garlic Girls offense with a 10-point effort.
Amanda Bakker tossed in 16 points as Western Tree Nursery outlasted Williams Dental Lab 40-24.
Marisa Taylan assisted the Tree Nursery scoring outburst with 14 points. Shante Mandera drilled a 3-pointer and led Williams with 16 points.
