Lara to play in Sophomore Bowl
GILROY – Gina Lara will be representing Gavilan College at this year’s Sophomore Bowl –which showcases the soccer talent of Northern California Community College athletes.
The game will be held this Saturday, December 13 at 7 p.m. at Evergreen College in San Jose. College scouts will be out to see the talent. This is a great way for the sophomores to be seen and many will sign scholarships to attend four-year universities.
Golfers needed for Gavilan team
GILROY –Gavilan College head golf coach Scott Krause is looking for golfers to join the Rams for their 2004 season.
The golf season starts on Jan 15 with the first tournament on the schedule for Feb. 9.

Rams hoops to host Skyline tonight
GILROY – The Gavilan College men’s basketball team will play its home opener Thursday at 7 p.m. on the Gilroy campus, while The Lady Rams will take on Diablo Valley College in Concord at 7p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12.
