Wine Label Contest
Preview: Saturday, Oct. 23, 5-8pm
Local artists will be competing for a real chalice of glory – their own work emblazoned on a special bottling of Guglielmo’s “Local Artist Series” wine. Local and wine themed art from the surrounding area will be on show for the contest’s preview at the Morgan Hill Art Guild, Oct. 23 from 5pm to 8pm.
All submitted works will be on display at the Guild preview at 17265 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, and from those entries, eight semifinalists will be selected to display at the winery from Nov. 2 to 14. A public vote will determine the winner, who will receive $500 and his or her work on bottles of Guglielmo wine.
Wines bearing the winning work will be on sale at Guglielmo’s Holiday Gift Faire beginning Dec. 4.
The Winning Wine Label Award Ceremony will be held at Guglielmo’s tasting room, 1480 East Main Ave. in Morgan Hill, on Nov. 20 from 5pm to 8pm. For more information, contact the Morgan Hill Art Guild at (408) 778-0054.
