Paul Nakamoto’s letter regarding the Eagle Ridge and Bonfante Gardens land deal is a load of propaganda that is being spread around. The parks that were described have vast people surrounding them to support the parks. You are talking about Gilroy with a population of give or take 50,000 people.
One thing you do not mention is that the parcels of land have an ordinance attached so that the City Council if deemed necessary could re-zone them to residential. How do you think Bonfante Gardens is soliciting Shapell to development the land residential. Next time state facts not opinions.
