Stevie Manuel Aguilar passed away suddenly in Gilroy on Nov. 17, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Blanca Aguilar; his children, Sophia Aguilar, Stephanie Aguilar and Victor Aguilar all of Gilroy.
He is the son of Margarita Aguilar of Gilroy. Stevie is the brother of Nellie Razo, Frank Aguilar, Louie Aguilar, Joe Aguilar, Johnny Aguilar, Mollie Garza, Suzie Aguilar, Stella Aguilar, Sylvia Regalado, Norma Vasquez and Gracie Ramirez all of Gilroy. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jesse Quinones and Francisco Arroyo of Gilroy, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Aguilar.
Stevie was born in Florence, Ariz. April 16, 1960, and he moved to Gilroy at the age of 12 and attended local schools. Mr. Aguilar was a self-employed paving contractor. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and helping anyone who needed help.
Evening Service will be Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery.
