Jordan Fanara singled in the winning run in the ninth inning Thursday, ruining a strong pitching effort by Anchorpoint Christian’s Ryan Tapia as North Valley Baptist gained a 4-3 win in the Christian Private League.

The Warriors (5-5 overall, 3-2 league) scored all three of their runs in the fourth inning. Kenneth Urbanski, Jon Wylie and Tyler Cole all had hits during the inning. Urbanski, Wylie and Ricky Sink scored the runs.

Meanwhile, Tapia allowed seven hits in going the distance and struck out 23.
