Team Hair FX topped ifly 18-12 Sunday to earn the first-half Co-Rec C League title at Las Animas park.

Joel Garcia’s two-run triple sparked a six-run rally as Team Hair FX erased a 9-8 deficit in the top of the sixth.

Norma Wendt highlighted the Team FX offense with a 3-for-3 effort. Tony Martinez slapped a home run and triple, Malina Contreras a triple and two singles for the winners. Joe Tovar produced a home run, double and single for ifly. Eric Martin added four hits.

Anritsu is 2-3 after a 10-2 win over the Big Kahunas.

Mike Benthler stroked a home run and two singles, Priscilla Carrillo two singles and a sacrifice fly for Anritsu. Greg Leach and Vicki Groppe scored the Big Kahunas runs.

Ruben Ramirez went 4-for-5 with a home run to pace pacific Coast Bail Bonds to a 13-8 win over Vargas Taxes and Financing Sunday in Co-Rec B play.

Zee Norton added four singles as Pacific Coast claimed the first-half title with a 5-1 mark. Gabriel Ponce hit a home run, triple and double for Vargas Taxes.

Northbound (4-2) secured a share of the first-half Men’s BB League title Friday with a 28-17 win over Dutchman’s Pizza at Christmas Hill Park.

Marshall Silva came off the bench to hit for the cycle and Kenny Hopf homered in a five-hit effort for Northbound. Cris Adame and Josh Martinez hit consecutive home runs for Dutchman’s. Shannon Fernandez went 4-for-4 with a home for the losers.

NorCal Regulators reached 4-2 with a 24-13 nod over HD Auto Glass & Hard Ninety.

Fred McCasland went 5-for-5 for the Regulators. Gino Martinez scored four runs. James Furtado hit a grand slam and Louie Garcia went 3-for-4 with a homer for Glass-Ninety.

The VFW Vets moved to 6-0 in Men’s D action Friday with a 13-12 victory over Humboldt Brewing.

The Vets, trailing 12-11 in the sixth, pushed across two runs with two-out hits from Mike Montenegro, Daniel Montenegro and Joe Cano. Danny Melendez hit two home runs, Jason Contreras one for the Vets. Greg Gilliam went 4-for-4 and Dave Robinson scored four runs for the 4-2 Brewers.

California Overhead earned a share of first place at 6-0 with a 12-10 comeback win over the Loco Boys.

Trailing 9-7 after six, Overhead fashioned a five-ruin rally in the seventh. Jeff Freeman, Mike Bonani and Romero Rodriguez each slapped an RBI-single. Mario Maciel finished with four hits and a sacrifice fly for Overhead. Alex Pena sent 4-for-4 for the Loco Boys.

Brian Merkel hit an RBI-triple and scored on a John Perryman single in the bottom of the seventh inning as Campbell’s Towing defeated Team Hair FX 13-12.

Jason Morton homered for Campbell’s. Mark Rodriguez poked two doubles and a single for Team Hair FX.

Leroy Martinez and AJ Martinez hit consecutive home runs in the third to lift Gamers In Control past Los Pistoleros 12-6. Nathan Avila went 3-for-3 and scored three Gamer runs. Robert Estrada went 3-for-3 with a sacrifice fly for Los Pistoleros.
