On behalf of the City of Gilroy Community Services Department, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the excellent coverage of our Winter Children’s Theater Production of “Red Hot Revue.”
“Red Hot Revue” was a wonderful show, celebrating the “razzle dazzle” of a golden era, and featuring gorgeous flapper-style costumes and “flickers” (black and white movies). Not only did our young actors have the thrill of performing in front of sold-out audiences, but they developed self-confidence and learned teamwork along the way.
Proceeds from our productions directly benefit out “Kids Discover Arts Festival” and other youth arts programs. The wonderful stories and photos featured in The Dispatch certainly helped to make this possible!
