CALLER 1: Thanks for the article on Bria DeLorenzo. It is great to be able to hear how Gilroy’s athletic/scholars are doing in college. And to Bria, congratulations.
GREEN PHONE: We would also like to congratulate Bria on her accomplishments. She is one of of the many athletes from Gilroy who has been successful at the college level. CALLER 2: I enjoyed your article on the NCAA’s and the Salukis defense was fantastic throughout. But the type of respect we are trying to achieve just shows in your column. You mentioned that we earned our 5 seed. We were a 4 seed. Little things add up to respect.
GREEN PHONE: To this writer from Southern Illinois University, we apologize and appreciate your comments. The Salukis, were, indeed a 4 seed and as worthy one at that.
CALLER 3: My question was whether or not coach Bud Ogden of the Gilroy High basketball team was going to be having his annual spring basketball camp or clinic. It used to be on Sundays beginning in April and running through May. I haven’t read anything about it, so I was just wondering if he was going to be doing it again.
