The Gilroy High School Associated Student Body hosted a competition during the lunch hour Tuesday in which teams of four raced around a car, changing seats and buckling themselves in. The event was put on to raise awareness of the importance of wearing seat belts and is part of March Seat belt Challenge, in which GHS competes against other schools to get the highest percentage of students buckling up on their commutes to school.
