Ted’s wishes were to be cremated and to be interred in Willits cemetery. The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to the William F. Harrah Senior Center 1501 Baechtel Rd. Willits, CA 95490 or to your favorite charity. On Friday, November 8th, 2103 at 10:30, a Celebration of Life ceremony will be officiated by Deacon Jim Myers at St. Vincent’s Church located at 1 Saint Vincent’s Drive, San Rafael, CA.  Born June 24, 1930 in Willits, CA and was raised by his grandparents Charles and Nina Van Bebber. His mother was Dora Van Bebber.
 Ted passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family on November 5, 2013 in San Rafael, CA
 Ted graduated from Willits High School in 1948 and was drafted into the Army shortly thereafter. He was assigned to the 59th Company where he worked as Military Police and within two years was promoted to Sergeant. During his two years of service, he was stationed in Korea. Ted returned from the military and graduated from Golden Gate College in 1958 with a degree in Accounting.
 In April of 1959 he married the love of his life, Sharon Diane Hussey. They lived in San Francisco, Pacifica and finally settled in Marin County. Ted is survived by their four children, Loree Van Bebber (Butch Bailey), Lisa McKissick (Ron), TJ Van Bebber (Katie Straley) and Kathleen McGarvey (Mike).
 Ted has 11 grandchildren, Dustin (Kayla), Cristina (Brad), Kelly, Kristyn, Michael, Matthew (Kayln), Teddy, Katherine, Melanie and Ian and three great-grand children, Jordan, Everett and Kennedy.
 Ted is survived by brother Charlie Louwaert and sisters Nina Bettencourt (Ray), Madeline Louwaert (Carl Sealock) and sister-in-law Nina Louwaert. Predeceased by brothers Frank Louwaert and Michael Louwaert.
 Ted worked for Bechtel/Fremont Group for over 20 years. He loved to take vacations and cruises with his family. His most memorable trip was a cruise to Alaska with the entire family! Â
 Ted was an avid gardener; he enjoyed genealogy and loved his country. He was a devoted husband, an inspirational father and an extraordinary grandfather.
