2004, after a short illness.
The Gilroy native was 94.

The Gilroy native was 94.

Born in Old Gilroy, he graduated from San Ysidro School and played baseball in the old baseball leagues in the South Valley area. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He farmed row crops with his father and brothers in the Sheldon Avenue area for many years.

He is the brother of Mary C. Hyman of Gilroy and the late Loris Rossi and Martin Rossi; the uncle of Rudy Rossi and his wife Kathy of Sparks, Nev., Jim Morris and his wife Mary Ann of Hollister, Joanne Medina of Gilroy and the late Brent Hyman and his wife Bonnie of Snelling; the great uncle of Sabrina Maderas and her husband Monty of Hollister, Randie Codiga and her husband Mark of Gilroy, Rick Medina and his wife Lori of Seaside, Shannon Neudeck of Gilroy and Julie Powell and her husband Vince of Oakdale, and Sara Hyman of Snelling the great-great uncle of three; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 13, 2004, at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery under direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
