league play Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.
Gilroy – Tutta Bella snapped a 3-3 tie with an eight-run outburst in the top of the seventh inning to top Out To Play 11-3 in Co-Rec Fall B league play Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.

Malina Contreras and Mark Tarasco hit consecutive RBI-doubles in the fifth inning to give Out To Play (1-1) a 3-2 lead. Paul Garcia singled and scored on an infield error in the Tutta Bella sixth for a 3-3 deadlock.

The first six batters in the Tutta Bella seventh reached base with hits. Anthony Corral, Liz Talavera, Sean Subia and Liz Adams stroked consecutive doubles. K. C. Adams capped the rally with a run-scoring triple.

Talavera and Subia each went 3-for-3 for 2-0 Tutta Bella. Al Rivera and At Naranjo Jr. each went 2-for-2 for Out To Play.

Team Coconut is 1-1 after a 13-8 decision over Do Work.

Ryan Dequin stroked a triple, double and single as Team Coconut scored in each of the first six innings. Rich Rodriquez went 4-for-4 and Josh Padron managed a double and two singles for the Coconuts. Robert Armendariz topped the Do Work offense with a 3-for-3 effort.

Gilroy Chaos escaped with a 6-4 nod over the Ball Slappers in Co-Rec Fall C League play Thursday at Las Animas Park.

Chaos, joining idle Icy Hots atop the five-team circuit with a 2-0 mark, pushed across three runs in the first inning and held onto the lead for the remainder of the contest. Josh Torres responded with a solo home run in the first inning and another in the sixth for the 1-2 Ball Slappers. Torres was left in the on-deck circle in the bottom of the seventh when a double play with two Slapper runners on board ended the contest.

Esmeralda Hernandez went 3-for-3 for the losers. Marie Lucio went 2-for-2 with two RBI for the winners. David Dennis pushed across an insurance run in the Gilroy Chaos seventh with a single.

A six-run rally in the fourth inning carried ifly (1-2) past the Big Kahunas 10-6.

Travis Graham stroked a two-run single to ignite the ifly explosion. Tony Smith led the winners with a 3-for-3 performance. Vicki Groppe went 4-for-4 and John Jimenez provided a triple, double and single for the Big Kahunas.
