players, Lorenzo Dobson and Jason Conrad, have been selected as
McDonald’s All-Americans.
It was announced Thursday that two Gilroy High basketball players, Lorenzo Dobson and Jason Conrad, have been selected as McDonald’s All-Americans. The Mustangs’ twin towers were expected to form one of the best front lines in the Central Coast Section before Conrad went down with a left ankle injury in December.
Conrad was averaging 16 points and 16 rebounds before his injury. Dobson is currently averaging seven points and 10 rebounds per contest.
The final team will be announced in February, with the high school all-star game being televised Mar. 26 on ESPN.
