Richard Rodriguez, principal at Luigi Aprea Elementary School since 2007, has been discharged from the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose following a serious car crash last week.
Few details surrounding the incident are known. Gilroy School Board President Tom Bundros believes the accident may have occurred sometime Wednesday.Â
The Gilroy Police Department is unable to provide any further information at this time. The California Highway Patrol has not returned any phone calls regarding the accident.Â
