Victor Duane Reisig, 72, of Sarasota, Fla., passed away on Jan. 26. He was born on Dec. 22, 1930, in Jackson, Mich. He lived in Gilroy with his wife Beth, and their five children from 1965 through 1980.

He later lived in Morgan Hill and Santa Cruz before moving to Sarasota in 1991 where he remarried and retired as an investor. Victor graduated from Michigan State University and was a devoted member in both the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Center for Positive Living.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; daughters Dawn Gorman of Ojai, and Vicki Sheppard of Watsonville; stepson Blake Bouknight of Sarasota, and sons Kurt of Folsom, Eric of Rocklin, and Jeff of Sacramento; sisters Helen Eck of Santa Barbara, and Emma J. Coffey of Palos Verdes; a brother, Donald of Lansing, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
