LOS GATOS – Tim Filice, partner of Gilroy’s La Filice Winery, together with Campo di Bocce Restaurant and the San Jose Greek Community, announces their upcoming “Annual Spring Lamb Barbecue,” on Saturday at Campo di Bocce Restaurant, 556 University Ave. in Los Gatos.
Event benefits the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford. Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with admission by advance ticket sales only.
The Ronald McDonald House at Stanford offers a home-away-from-home for families with children who have life-threatening illnesses and who are receiving treatment at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
Serving more than 1,000 families each year, it offers a warm, supportive atmosphere with a low room fee of $10 per night. To keep this low cost, more than 80 percent of the operating budget is contributed by community members, businesses and foundations.
