TENNIS: Alisal sweeps doubles play in 5-2 win over Christopher

Cougars go 3-0 for the week.
With a chance to go three-for-three this week, the Christopher High volleyball team went about it the most efficient way, earning a three-set sweep (25-20, 25-16, 25-14) against Stevenson on Thursday night in Gilroy.

“We still have a lot to work on with rotations and defensive alignment, but I am very pleased with our progress,” CHS head coch Tom Schatz said.

Aly Olvera paced the Cougars (4-5) with 11 kills, four aces and seven digs.

Cheyanne DelaMerced, Hanna Tabron and Merrett Brown each recorded four kills. Michelle Toves posted 10 digs in the back while Alex Gerberick set up 24 assists and had seven digs.
