Sobrato and Christopher need the maximum five sets to decide their contest, which was part of the second annual Dig Pink Tournament hosted by Live Oak on Saturday night. Proceeds from the event benefited breast cancer research through the Side-Out Foundation.

Merrett Brown collected 17 kills, followed closely by Claudia Ferreira with 15.

Paulina Vo-Griffin 11 had kills and five aces, Alex Gerberick 45 assists and libero Michelle Toves had 29 digs and five aces.

CHS (12-6 overall, 3-1 Monterey Bay League), continues league play against Seaside on Tuesday at Christopher.
