Coach Karie Gonzales said the first-year varsity Cougars are still trying to “reinforce communication and confidence.” CHS drops to 1-7 in league play.

Ryan Tabilas had 33 assists, Emmanuel Salcedo had four kills, John Day contributed three kills and Ceasar Diaz had one.
