Youth piano competition and festival

The 7th Annual Marian Filice Youth Piano Competition takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 3 at the Gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd. It is an opportunity for local young pianists to perform and compete for scholarships and the opportunity to participate in the annual Bach to Blues concert. Wildlife center pet photo day

The Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center will hold its 20th annual pet photo day with Peg Jackson serving as a photographer for the event. The cost is a donation of $50 for one 5×7” inch photo (cash or check only) with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting WERC’s care of orphaned, sick or injured animals. Appointments are available from 5 to 8 p.m. March 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 3 and from noon to 4 p.m. March 4 at the Granary, 17500 Depot St., in Morgan Hill. “Alone Together Again” dinner theater

Limelight Actors Theater presents its first show of the 2012 season, “Alone Together Again” at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays a through March 10 at the Gilroy Center for the Arts, 7341 Monterey St. The comedy  by Lawrence Roman is very funny, and at times poignant, offering an honest look at family – about aging parents, marriage and family relationships.
