William Daniel Higuera passed away in San Jose, CA at the age of 82. He was born and raised in Madera, moved to Watsonville in 1977 then to Hollister in 2005.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Juventina Higuera, his children Rich Higuera, Robert Higuera, Cynthia Higuera of San Jose, Jeannette and Gary Martin of Hollister, his four grandchildren, and his brother and sister Thomas Higuera and Ernestine Ramirez of Madera. William was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather that is dearly missed.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11, 2011, from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister. A rosary service will be offered at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
The funeral services will begin on Thursday morning leaving the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. and proceeding to Sacred Heart Church, 5th and College Streets in Hollister for a funeral Mass commencing at 10 A.M. Burial and graveside services will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Hollister.
