Yowza topped Two-Inch Verts in three sets Sunday as the 2007 Winter Co-Rec Volleyball League completed the season Sunday at Solorsano Gymnasium.

The Verts (9-1) brought a nine-game winning streak into the finale, but dropped a 25-21, 28-30, 15-13 decision to 4-6 Yowza.

The Gilroy Community Services Department program consisted of six teams, with games scheduled Sunday evenings at Solorsano Gym. The Spring Co-Rec Volleyball League will begin play in March.

Western Tree Nursery, the two-time defending league champion, completed a 7-3 campaign with a 25-17, 25-18 win over State Farm Insurance, Gina Lopez Agency.

The Net Tanglers improved to 3-7 with a 17-25, 25-17, 15-11 win over the Misfits (4-6).
