The garage sale at South Valley Community Church on Saturday raised a total of $4,200 to donate to the American Red Cross, organizers said.
“Our goal was to raise $2,500,” organizer Shannon O’Dell said Monday morning. “If we made that, we would have been happy. People’s generosity was overwhelming.”
O’Dell noted she still has some antique items available for sale. Inquiries may be directed to O’Dell at 427-7642.
