The winner gets $750 and their work will be displayed on
souvenir items at next year’s annual celebration
Gilroy – The Gilroy Garlic Festival Association, Inc. is accepting entries for the 2007 Art Poster Contest.
A $750 first prize will go to the entry which is judged to best capture the spirit and essence of this premier food festival.
In addition, the first place winner shall receive ten posters and one of each souvenir item produced with their artwork.
The second place winner will receive $400 and third place $200.
The winning entry will be reproduced as a high quality, limited edition poster to be sold at the 29th Annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, July 27, 28 and 29, 2007.
The deadline for entries is 5pm, March 1, and winners will be notified by March 30, 2007.
