about fireworks, he certainly deserves congratulations for his

I rarely applaud Mayor Al Pinheiro, but in the (Dec. 2) article about fireworks, he certainly deserves congratulations for his statement, “We can’t as a society keep banning everything.” How refreshing this is from an elected official!
We have an excess of laws and a lack of brains. According to said article, our Police Chief Gregg Giusiana, wants to establish “administrative fines” to unconstitutionally force people to prove their innocence. It’s too bad voters can’t remove him as we just did to Councilmen Charlie Morales and Bob Dillon (both of whom want to ban fireworks).
Have you ever noticed how the hypocrites, first to speak for “choice'” are also the first to try take that of someone else away?
