More than 325 seniors graduated June 11 from Gilroy High School’s Class of 2026, and are now ready to take their next steps into adulthood, higher education, technical and trade schools and the workforce.

The graduation ceremony took place at 6:30pm at Centennial Circle on Gilroy High’s campus. The school band led off the ceremony with a performance of “Pomp and Circumstance;” and student speeches were delivered by Senior President Maleah Lopez; Senior Vice President Emiliano Garcia; ASB Vice President Brooklyn Epps; Salutatorian Anna Nguyen; and Valedictorian Kamryn Krejdovsky.

Epps paid tribute to the staff and faculty of Gilroy High, specifically thanking the custodial staff, cafeteria staff, campus supervisors, teachers and school resource officers.

“To every staff and faculty member here, you didn’t just run a school, teach a subject or enforce rules. You built a community, allowed us to express ourselves through different outlets and contributed to our success long after graduation,” Epps said.

Krejdovsky, both the class valedictorian and ASB President, congratulated her classmates on their growth during the past four years, and the accomplishments that await them.

“We now walk out not only as graduates of Gilroy High School, but as future lawyers, doctors, teachers, engineers, athletes, business owners—and most importantly, we walk out as individuals that have taken unique pathways to get to this moment, making us stronger, wiser and passionate about who we are,” Krejdovsky said.
