Headley fifth anniversary
Akemi and Shawn Headley celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary. They said their vows in a small ceremony at the General Sherman Tree in Sequoia National Park Nov. 21, 1998.
Nicle Headley was the maid of honor and Matt Jeffery was the best man. The couple honeymooned among the giant trees of Sequoia National Park. It was a fitting location for the coule, as Akemi Kochiay met Shawn while attending Humbolt State University as a foreign student, and the two were both enrolled in the forestry program. Both graduated with degrees in forestry in June of 1998. The bride’s parents are Tadao Oida and Mitsuyo Kochia, of Chigasaki, Japan. The groom’s parents ware William A. Headley Jr. and Dannie Lee Snyder, of Gilroy. The couple happily resides in the coastal community of Fort Bragg, where Shawn is employed by the Campbell Timber Management Group.
