The power of choice can never be unleashed without restraint if a society is to remain civilized and free.
If a murder is committed, does not the offender suffer at the hands of the law for misusing the power of choice? Is the same not true for stealing, assault and drunk driving? Do not all these actions have consequences that effect other individuals? We see punishment is metered out to the offenders, so, why would abortion be any different? Is it because a woman should have control over how own body? No woman has ultimate control over her body.
If she did, then she could will pregnancy, disease even death. If a woman chooses to have sex with a male is she not responsible for that choice?
No matter what the pro-choice lobby says or denies, it is life at conception that is created, the blueprint of a human being! How seductive the cry for freedom of choice is. Women must chose to take the responsibility that comes with being a free person in this society.
For the power of choice can never be unleashed without restrain in a free society. So listen up Gayle M. Tiller and all women of the so called Helen Reddy “I-am-woman” generation. The only person who can be pro-choice is God and he’s pro-life.
