Evelyn Luella Milne Rianda, a Gilroy native, passed away Feb. 22, 2003.
She was born May 12, 1910. She attended local schools.
Mrs. Rianda graduated from O’Connor Hospital’s School of Nursing and was a registered nurse until retiring in 1961 to wed local rancher, George Rianda. Her father, William
Milne, had a ranch and prune orchard on Hecker Pass Highway.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Louella Kendrick of Gilroy, granddaughters, Terisa Campanella of Hollister and Jacqui Kendrick of Texas and great grandchildren, Jaden and Savannah Kendrick of Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Rianda and step sisters, Ida Parrish and Linnie Howson.
Per her wishes no services will be held. Local arrangements by Habing Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy.
