Charles Ray Stamps died on Friday, Oct. 10, at the age of 54.
Mr. Stamps was born in Wickenburg, Ariz. A self-employed entrepreneur, Charles was a longtime resident of Gilroy. Mr. Stamps lived with his daughter in Portland, Ore., for a year before succumbing to cancer. He was a well respected veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Stamps is survived by his daughter Shannon Stamps; his mother Esther Stamps, and his brothers and sisters-in-law; Robert and Sally Stamps, Donald and Linda Stamps, and William and Morgann Stamps.
