She is survived by her loving brothers and sisters, Mickey Contreras of San Jose, Pablo Contreras of Bremerton, Wash., Francisco Contreras of Waukegan, Ill., Delores Contreras of Campbell, Edward Contreras and wife Mickey of Morgan Hill, Angel Contreras of Glendale, Ariz., Ramon Contreras of Henderson, Nev., and Tom Contreras and wife Joey of St. Helena. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gumecindo and Marcella Contreras.
Rosemarie enjoyed helping elderly people. She was a support for persons needing to receive dialysis treatment. She liked her plants and was known to have a green thumb.
One of her greatest loves were her animals, especially her dog, Sonny.
Rosemarie will be missed by many people.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Road in Morgan Hill.
