Dennis Barroza went 4-for-4 and Justin Barroza added a triple and two singles as the Desperados, the defending league champion, created a three-game winning streak.

Phil Clark hit a three-run home run in the top of the second inning as the Desperados scored five runs for a 7-2 lead. Justin Barroza and Lorenzo Nino each hit a two-run triple in an eight-run third.

Art Garcia went 3-for-3 and Mike Garcia hit a home run and two singles for the Dirty Dozen.

Juan Arias went 4-for-5 to lift Aladdin Bail Bonds-Fermin’s Appliance Service past Los Chilotes 11-3. John Carrillo and Arias each scored three runs. Norm MacVicar and Ryan Boyd each delivered three singles for Aladdin-Fermin’s. Joel Gaeta went 4-for-4, including two triples, for Los Chilotes, while Cameron Bautista scored three runs.

The Energizers topped the Angels 21-9 as Denise Chavez ripped a homer, double and two singles in Women’s D League play Wednesday at Gavilan Sports Park.

Darci Daniels and Maureen Duggan each mustered three hits for the 2-2 Energizers. The Angels put together an eight-run rally in the first inning, sparked by a Shawn Moen three-run triple and consecutive singles by Anja Kerten and Melissa Palm. Stefani Wheat went 2-for-2 for the Angels.

M. Rizzo Landscaping held a 19-17 lead over Kay’s Kids after five innings, with the remainder of the contest to be played Wednesday July 23 at 8:10 p.m. at Gavilan.

Sheri Steinbeck went 3-for-3 and scored four runs as 3-0 Dutchman’s Pizza defeated Impalas Car Club 18-3 in Women’s C play Wednesday at Las Animas Park.

Brandy Davis stroked three singles, drove in four runs and scored three runs for Dutchman’s. Mercy Sermeno went 3-for-4 with four runs scored. Christina Velasquez and Corrina Casillas each powered two hits for Impalas Car Club.

Cheryl Kern and Esmeralda Garcia each went 4-for-4 to pace Goldsmith Seeds to a 27-7 decision over Michael’s Mufflers. Emily Hernandez homered in a four-hit, four-run effort for the Seeds. Alma Sill and Monica Samudio each went 3-for-3. Joanna Hernandez went 3-for-3 and Teresa Ray scored three runs for Michael’s Mufflers, the first-half D champion.
