Kathleen M. Santana (nee Beckley), 34, passed away suddenly in
her home Monday, April 14, 2003, in San Diego.
Kathleen M. Santana (nee Beckley), 34, passed away suddenly in her home Monday, April 14, 2003, in San Diego.
Born in Michigan, she moved to Gilroy when she was 8 years old. She graduated from Glenview, South Valley Junior High and Gilroy High School (1987) and Gavilan College with her associate’s degree in allied health. She attended Fresno State and was a collegiate bowler. She was an avid St. Louis Ram fan. She enjoyed arts, crafts, scrap booking and doll making. She will be remembered as a loving mother.
She was the wife of Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (Fleet Marine Force) Michael A. Santana, stationed at Naval Medical Center San Diego; and mother of Sarah Lorraine Santana of San Diego and the late Daniel Thomas Santana. She was the daughter of Lorraine Beckley of Banning and the late Thomas E. Beckley Sr.; sister of Thomas E. Beckley Jr. of Phoenix, Ariz.; Timothy E. Beckley of Gilroy and Kimberly I. Alvarado of Hollister. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Saturday at 10 a.m. followed by Funeral Services at Noon at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Gilroy.
