Jerry Johnston powered two home runs and Rich Furtado went 5-for-5 for the Radiator. Annette Maquinalez and Stephanie Johnston each aided the Radiator Doctor cause with three hits.
Will Hill, Eddie Vargas and Joel Garcia lined three hits each for Just 4 Fun.
EKS Concrete-California Fun Jump moved to 2-5 in C play with a 13-8 nod over Dutchman’s Pizza-Big Kahunas Sunday.
Jaime Garcia doubled and singled in an eight-run explosion for EKS-Fun Jump. Willie Gamboa hit a grand slam in the rally. Garcia took team batting honors with three hits, while Katrina Villa scored three EKS Concrete-California Fun Jump runs. Danny Benz went 3-for-3 and scored four Kahunas runs. Mark Logan went 3-for-4.
Jesse Marquez singled and doubled Thursday to help Radiator Doctor past the Kahunas 9-5. Benz went 4-for-5, Logan 3-for-4 for Dutchman’s-Kahunas.
Christina Landeros scored five runs Thursday as Just 4 Fun defeated EKS Concrete-California Fun Jump 20-8 at Las Animas. Will Hill went 5-for-5 and Eddie Vargas homered in a 4-for-4, nine-RBI night for the winners. Will Lawrence hit a three-run home run and Willie Gamboa went 3-for-4 for EKS-Fun Jump.
Foothills is 4-1 in second place in the Co-Rec Winter D League after a 22-3 decision over South Valley Newspapers Sunday at Las Animas.
Art Amaro drilled four hits and scored five Foothills runs. John Fullmer drove in five Foothills runs with a home run and double. Craig Deal tripled and scored on a Tara Perez grounder for South Valle Newspapers.
Covenant earned a forfeit win over Rush Order and is 5-0 atop the standings.
