. Ledwith recently completed his first book titled “If You Are Suddenly Single” written especially for widows to help them handle financial issues after losing a spouse. There will be a book signing event at Booksmart in Morgan Hill at 6:30 p.m. June 24.
Preparing for work and college
TeenWORKS will help 75 youths, ages 17 or 18, whose parents are Santa Clara County CalWORKS recipients, prepare for work and college. An eight-week summer program, which begins June 14 at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., will combine job readiness and work experience with academic and educational support.
