Charges against Santy Robillos, 45 of Tracy, and Juan Fabian-Garcia, 18, were filed after separate investigations by Morgan Hill Police.

With the help of Tracy Police, Morgan Hill officers arrested Robillos Sept. 20 at his home on Kavanagh Avenue in Tracy, on suspicion of repeatedly molesting a girl who was about 6 or 7 years old, police said.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s office charged him with four counts of lewd and lascivious acts against a child younger than 14.

The crimes allegedly happened in 2000 and 2002, and Robillos’ arrest is based on an investigation that started in April, police said.

Robillos was a family friend at the time and lived with the girl’s family in Morgan Hill, police said. During the investigation, police also determined that a neighbor of the victim, who was 9 years old at the time, was also sexually assaulted by Robillos.

Fabian-Garcia was arrested Sept. 29 at his home in Gilroy after a 12-year-old girl reported to police that Fabian-Garcia sexually assaulted her, police said. Fabian-Garcia allegedly assaulted the girl the previous weekend at a party near Hill Road and San Pedro Avenue in Morgan Hill.

Both defendants were in court Tuesday for plea hearings, and both hearings were continued to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 26 at South County Courthouse.
