The atmosphere will be electric as the Christopher High football team welcomes Pajaro Valley into town for a Monterey Bay League showdown on Homecoming.

The Grizzlies are coming off of a 62-8 drubbing at the hands of powerhouse Seaside, while the Cougars are out to regroup after an eye-opening 37-0 loss at Monterey last week.

— Cougars quarterback Brandon Pickens is third in the MBL in passing, compiling 597 yards on 49-of-88 throws and five touchdowns.

— Linebacker Dillon Babb returns after missing a pair of games with a knee injury. Babb may see significant time on both lines.

— Both offenses have break-out games on their minds.

The two schools are the lowest-scoring offenses in the MBL thus far – 34 points in five games for Pajaro, 53 in four games for CHS.
